Hope you feel better soon. I can sympathise with the bad back, I seem to suffer a lot. Always find a good massage helps, when I can save up enough to go....lol.  Exercise is great for it, its just choosing the right one to do though, isn't it?

Seems sensible to hold off on the car service if you don't really need it done. We are getting ours done before going away, but luckily DH has a mate who is a car mechanic and does it, so all parts bought from the Bay of E and it doesn't cost us too much.

Hey MAB - massages are one of those things I really wish I liked the idea of - but I really don’t! The thought of lying there with someone’s hands all over me….ugh, nope, not for me! (See also pedicures under this heading!)

A little bit of unexpected MSE type cheerfulness is that apparently both MrEH and I will be receiving £100 from N@t1onw1de just for being members - completely unexpected to the extent that MrEH started looking for an email address to forward it to to report it as convincing spam, and that was when he found the details on their website! Hurrah!

Then under the heading of “creating an annoying faff” come Sant-And-Er who have just sent me a cheque for 21p representing underpaid internet on a closed account - where they have already transferred the rest of the interest straight to the new account that replaced the closed one…sigh. Out of spite I have paid it in to FD vis their app - I don’t see why Sant should get it back! 🤣

Oh my word......just checked my emails and have the NW email about the £100 as well.....Wow....that is a nice surprise. Must message DH and see if he has it as well.

And with regard to massages, I have been going to the same therapist for well over 10 years now. Wouldn't go anywhere else, or trust anyone else, but she is amazing.

I'm with you on massages, I don't like being touched!

I got the nationwide message too, just scraped in by the looks of it!

I’m a fan of a massage - think I prefer the sports massage to spa ones really, but both are good for muscles.

I had the Nationwide email too- very lovely of them!

I think you need a bit of rest and relaxation today rather than exercise. I’m the same as you I hate the idea of a massage or pedicure. Can’t bear having anyone touch my feet 😬

Thanks for mentioning the Nationwide £100, both OH and I along with both my parent are each getting it. I hadn't seen the email yet as it gets filtered into a folder I only check once or twice a week so this was a big surprise.
