    NSD for me today. Brrr, chilly working at home with “economical” ie no heating on. Cannot believe how much even a couple of hours of central heating at 18degrees costs.

    If you've got a smart meter and are using it to keep track of charges it's even more expensive than the smart meter says too ... though maybe this is well known, but the smart meter only gives the base rate, & on top of that the company adds VAT & standing charges. I only found that out when I rang them to find out why they had charged me £250 more for the year than the smart meter said I would get charged :(
