Does utilising a PAC code automatically end a rolling contract and cancel Auto Renew with Lyca?

With some mobile providers like Smarty or Lebara, you can turn off the "Auto Renew" option so that a rolling 30 day contract doesn't continue and thus you will not be charged in the future.
Lyca Mobile's website isn't as clear when it comes to Account/billing details. The plan I am on is a MSE blagged deal for 5p a month. When I signed up, there was no option regarding any Auto Renew function.
If it's a 30 day rolling contract, would the contract (and the getting charged for future months) automatically end once I use the Lyca PAC code (received by text) and switch to another network?

Yes, service is terminated when the PAC is utilised.

As far as I am aware being in a contract means you have to give notice to quit. A 12moths contract you can give as long as you like but you will still be charged for the duration. A moths contract you give a month, you can leave before but you still have to give notice. I have many contracts in the past and you don't get a pac code till you give notice.1

Awesome. Thank you @eDicky. So all I need to do is just utilise the PAC code and that should stop renewal of the service.

There's no requirement to give notice to end your contract when moving your number to a new network by using a PAC (any applicable early termination fee will of course be charged). In fact if a PAC, once obtained, is not used within its 30 days' validity the contract will continue, regardless of whether notice was previously given to end it.

Effectively notice is automatically included at the start.
The option is to opt in to continue with a new month on the same terms.
(Month is often 30days)

If so desired, it is possible to cancel Auto renew with Lycamobile."Log in to your My Lyca Mobile account and go to Overview > Click Here to View plan Details > View Details > Cancel Renewal."Or alternatively dial *190# from your Lycamobile number, option 1.0

If you just utilised a PAC code for your Lyca number and switched to another network, wouldn't that just end the contract and the Auto Renew with Lyca?0 -
Yes, it should but after experiencing them (less than a week!), I would and did stop the auto renew, as an extra precaution.I agree, their website and customer account section is not the best. Somewhat like their customer service. How would it be possible to set up payment, change payment card/method etc. without an account? Just curious, not trying to be difficult.Maybe there's a dedicated number(s) to call for all that?0

Yes I agree they are not the best when it comes to a non glitchy website.
Well that's just the thing. I have signed up on their website before a while ago and back then at the time of sign up, there was an option whether to Auto Renew which I turned to "Off" before hitting the purchase button. That was for an MSE deal as well. I remember back then the whole thing glitched after paying, but I received a confirmation e-mail and that was that.
In this case, signing up for the MSE blagged deal via the MSE comparison tool, it took me to the sign up page which was completely different and just a form where you hit buy. There was no on/off tab or switch for any "Auto Renew". There was no glitch this time, but as stated, there was no option regarding any Auto Renewal.
In both cases, there was no online account setup. Just a sign up e-mail and your credit card/Paypal. From what I understand, you have to manually sign up for an online account if you want to do so. It's different from Lebara, or Smarty where there is an online account that is setup when you make the purchase.
However, if you utilise a PAC code, I would have thought the entire point of a PAC code is it voids (and thus ends) whatever the old contract is with whoever. Including Lyca Mobile. Without the need for having to put oneself through the hassle of talking to any of these organisation's call centres and going in circles. Given what you mentioned about customer service, the automated route would be preferred terminating the rolling contract by way of activating a PAC.
