I have just posted on the other thread and perhaps these two threads could be combined.

If the other bank then takes more than 30 days to complete a simple cash ISA transfer it's not really KR's fault
Problem is, we have no way of telling. It was a cash ISA so they say to allow 15 days. No contact received from KRBS and no response to secure message, so I have no idea whether it is indeed the other side's fault, or if KRBS haven't actually requested it.0 -

1) when they process the electronic transfer you'll get a "We have received your request" email and text
- if you didnt get this within a few days of opening the account then contact KR
2) if the request wasn't acknowledged and no new funds added in 7 days they may have closed the account
- so check whether the KR account still shows as 'Active' online
3) if the request was acknowledged then within a week or two you can expect
some communication from the other bank
the funds to go from the other bank
a deposit confirmation from KR
a "Your ISA has been successfully transferred" email and text from KR
- if that's what you're waiting on then contact the other bank1 -

KR have not responded to a message other than "we are getting a lot of messages"
2. The accounts remain "open" online with zero balance.
Same response as in 1) regarding secure message
3. The funds for both accounts remain at the other place.
Would it be too much to ask for them just to either i) do it, or ii) respond to the message asking if there's a problem.
That's all I ask.0
