Yes. Log in to your online banking, go to My current account options >> Switch Your Bank Account To Us

You can switch to your existing account but if you only have one reward account, you can open another one easily. Halifax will not do a credit check if you are already their customer. I opened 3 additional current accounts and 2 credit cards with them and they never hard-searched me. Only for the very first account, when I was a new customer.

I got the switch incentive in 2020 so not eligible for this one. I would take a chance but my newest donor account is switching to co-op next week. However, they have paid me 19 x £5 rewards since then.

Does this include if your first account offered is a basic account? 

They only accepted me for a basic account, so I was hoping if I use the account for a month, then I might be able to apply for a second account (reward). Anyone tried this?

If they accept you for the Reward account, then sure. But if you've only just recently been accepted for a basic account it might suggest that Halifax isn't too keen on giving you a full current account. You could try seeing if they'll upgrade you to a Reward account down the line, and if that is successful then you could take advantage of the switch offer.

Only one switch incentive will be paid, but if you have multiple reward current accounts then yes, you can be paid the £5/month reward on each of them. You have to qualify for the reward on each account separately however (eg. £5k balance/£500 monthly spend for each one).
