Bought a preloved item from a business seller with 100% positive feedback on 17th Nov. Final date for delivery was 26th Nov. Item didn't arrive and no communication, so I checked back to find that it had not been marked as dispatched.

Messaged seller who said she had looked for the item and couldn't find it and that she had been going to look for it the next day and message me.

On 27th she messaged to say she'd found item and was dispatching it.

I messaged back to say I'd be pleased to receive it eventually, but felt disappointed and overlooked as a customer.

No explanation was offered and no gesture to.make up for the delay and inconvenience. Just an apology in a slightly irritated tone and that I should understand if she's busy with other things.

I don't want to be mean, but I thought it was pretty crappy service. How do I rate my feedback?

I'd probably wait until I had actually received the item first.

But you're right, it seems to be very poor service. Honest feedback isn't you being "mean" - if you want to leave poor feedback for a poor experience then that's fair enough.

Definitely wait to receive it before leaving any kind of feedback - but focus on the item first and then hint at the slow service.

'Amazing item, just what I'd been looking for, just a shame dispatch was slow, but got it now so all good.'
