An attempt will always be made to provide clear information unless it is obviously an old post.

I don't routinely check dates before posting if the post is likely to be recent. In any event this is a current topic that others may find useful as they may find themselves in the same situation.

Actually the OP probably hasn't been back because their question (which was about employment rights more than anything) was answered and they presumably addressed the issue with their employer.
This isn't a discussion forum so any debates around covid, false positives or anything else are best taken elsewhere as that is what gets threads closed or deleted.
