Anyone got their Winter fuel payment yet?

Had the government letters weeks ago, but no sign of any payments yet. As i changed bank accounts since the letters were sent I'm wondering if i need to chase this?

I think they've only just started sending out the payments.  The letter clearly says that if you have not received your payment by 13 January 2023, call them free on 0800 731 0160.  There's little point in clogging up their phone lines in the meantime.

I also got the letter weeks ago but no payment yet. As they only started paying it a few days ago it will take time for everybody to get paid.

If you have not received it by 13 January you can male a claim online.

If you;re referring to the nan you mention on this other thread it appears that she did indeed get the extra £300 COL top up - its being paid in a single transaction with the WFA, not as a separate payment
