Water Meter Installed - Should Sewage Cost Also Reduce?

My water is supplied by Anglian water. I recently went onto a water meter, and it halved my bill to around £20 per month.
My sewage is supplied by Severn Trent but has stayed static at £450per year.
I have 2 questions.
1) Is £450 sewage per year excessive for a 3 bed detached house in the North?
2) Should I have expected that bill to have dropped since going onto a water meter?

Dunno about Severn Trent but we are with AW for both water and sewerage and previously with AW and Suffolk & Essex Water and both of them charged sewerage based on 90% of the water meter readings.
I guess that you might find it sorts it'self out in the fullness of time but its worth checking your T&C's with ST and AW to see waht they say about it. ST may be waiting for meter readings (hopefully you've read the meter and sent the readings into both AW and ST)Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
AW say they are using my rateable value for the sewage. I never thought about submitting a reading to AW, only ST. I'll submit a few to AW and see if that makes a difference.0

i am with ST and my waste water is based on my water usage on the meter0

I think the problem is that the meter is ST and AW don't recognise this?0

AW should have let STW know that you now have a meter - sounds like they havent.0
