Yes I would, even though I think claims in Scotland have to be served in person by a Sheriff's officer or something (you can check that).

It's 5 years north of the border (6 years in E/W) and, unlike E/W where the alleged debt can be pursued ad infinitum, albeit outside of the legal system, in Scotland after 5 years, the alleged debt is 'extinguished'.
