Creating a junk filter in Outlook

Options
I have been receiving heaps of junk mail recently - mainly CASINO orientated
I use Outlook 2019 for mail and have set up a junk filter to send all mail with "casino" in the subject to PERMANANTLY DELETE ...
This, for some reason doesn't work
Is there a known problem with rules in Outlook ?

    No.

If your rules are not working then you've probably set up conflicting rules (rules are run on a first come first served basis so if for example a rule  moves the message and a second one does something else to the same message, the second rule will never apply because there's nothing to apply it to), or your rules for whatever reason do not apply (or you have a "stop processing more rules" trap in place which does what it says on the tin).

I think the problem is caused by "STOP PROCESSING MORE RULES" being automatically applied to ALL rules

My rule needs manually running to work - and even then, misses a few emails
Is there no automatic method of running a rule ?

By default Outlook will run rules as soon as an email is received.
That's about as automatic as it gets.

Anyway Outlook has its own Junk Email settings:

Still cant get the filter to run automatically
Every morning - there are a dozen emails in my hotmail account from seemingly random addresses all with the same Subject "Casino for you"

Well rather than faffing about with Outlook Rules for a Hotmail account, just set your Hotmail account up properly with its own Junk email:
https://www.ionos.co.uk/digitalguide/e-mail/e-mail-security/outlook-spam-filter/ (see the "Using spam filters in the Outlook.com web app") section.

This is not 365 - it is OUTLOOK 2019  - Which has outlook filters
I believe the problem is caused because I am unable to remove the "and stop processong more rules" from, it.
Theres NO SRS file to modify

I didn't say anything about 365 or SRS files.

If you have a Hotmail account then you can go to Hotmail.com and log in with the details there.
In there on the website is where you can set the Hotmail junk filter options.
This will probably catch 95% of your junk mail before Outlook (the program) gets anywhere near it.
