Friend got pulled for no insurance paid fine but got to wait for replacement license

How long is a piece of string? 
Staff shortages, Christmas, postal strikes. Any guess that your friend makes as to the timescales is likely to be as accurate or inaccurate as anyone else’s.

She has applied for new license in her address and not a old one , and she’s worrying when it will turn up with her , 

she got till 30/12/2022 to send it but it’s not with her yet .. 

would she get banned ? She’s worrying that if she sends it later she’s going to get in trouble

If it goes to court, the likely outcome will be 6 points (same as the fixed penalty). She will also face an income-related fire, victim surcharge, and costs.

That's for a simple 'routine' no insurance case. If there are aggravating factors that you haven't mentioned then it could be 8 points, or even a ban.

What do you mean on second bit ? She didn’t have no insurance from April till august .

I applied for a replacement licence 2 weeks ago, old paper to photo licence with address change and it arrived after just 7 days.

OK, since the police were happy to issue a fixed penalty, we can assume there are no aggravating circs, so six points.
