Received damaged sofa beginning of this month, it came with oil stains plus looked like it had been dragged on rough ground plus hole in fabric, as soon as customer service opened I rang however messages said all available lines busy so had to email quoting consumer rights act 2015 item rejected due to not as described not fit for purpose etc and requested refund and for them to come and take the sofa back, that was nearly four weeks ago my complaint apparently was escalated and escalated again, I have only email contact which I prefer as you have a paper trail with what is said and mainly from me to see what they are doing..last week I gave the notice again rejecting this sofa under consumer rights and again asking for a full refund and for them to collect the sofa, and contact me to resolve the issue but  no further contact from them.. so I instructed my bank to claw back the money (visa debit) I received the money back from my bank however the company in question can try and claw it back from my bank but they now have to have a reason to do that, dispute is still ongoing.

Just to be clear, the bank doesn't really 'have a go now' as such - they refund you provisionally and if the merchant challenges that then the bank chooses who to side with, but if they side with the merchant here and reverse your refund then you're no further forward.  However, your side of the story sounds reasonably convincing, especially if backed by plenty of datestamped photos....

I appreciate that you have received a bad service from a company but you've posted twice about it here. Which we are not supposed to do, viz -

"please don't create duplicate posts on or across multiple threads. Flooding (repeated posting aiming to dominate or overwhelm a page) will be treated as spam."

Plus, you've called for a boycott of this business, which we're also not supposed to do.

"We appreciate emotions can run high should you experience poor service from companies, but we cannot accept active calls to boycott organisations as we are unable to verify the service you received."

Both points under 'Posting Content' in the Forum Rules - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/forum-faqs/?
Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Although I do carry out careful research before posting and never intend to mislead or supply out-of-date or incorrect information, please do not rely 100% on what you are reading. Verify everything in order to protect yourself as you are responsible for any action you consequently take.

What posters are not meant to do is to post incorrect information, something that you do on a very regular basis.
Could you show where the OP has called for a boycott of the company in question. Either that or simply admit that you made yet another mistake when reading the forum.

They have been told this many times and don't read replies to their posts. It used to say on their signature that they rarely go back to a thread after they have posted.
