A Ferrari will cost rather more per mile to run than a Fiesta. There are so many variables. Fuel, obviously. Insurance, maintenance, wear & tear, etc.Replacement brake discs and pads on my car, for example, are cheap and easy (dead easy to DIY with just a basic amount of DIY experience) to do. I suspect brakes on a Lamborghini or Ferrari would cost a little bit more
The official HMRC figure is supposed to represent a portion of the overall costs of an "average" car, but even "ordinary" cars can vary quite a bit in terms of overall running costs.
