Thanks Beanie - I sat on a seat in the end and finished the low double width cupboard. Gravy granules had leaked everywhere so I had to wash it all out. Refilled kitchen bin. Proud of myself for letting stuff go. The pans now fit in the cupboard. Result! I've got two narrow cupboards with 2 shelves each to declutter next (another day). That has crockery and random glass items in it. Plus the cupboard under the sink and a double width plastics and kitchen tools cupboard. I then need to finish decluttering the surfaces. Then repeat in the utility. If I can get rid of more stuff or give it a home - it will look better for the photos and for nosy viewers who check out cupboards. Thankfully the cleaner did my spice drawer recently so that's already done.
Just eating some OOD crisps. Still tasty.
My cleaner has agreed to carry on decorating tomorrow - so I need to make sure I leave stuff out for her as I'm in an online workshop. This is a room that I've wanted to sort for years so brilliant that it's now getting done. I'm hoping whether I sell now or stay for a while longer I'll get to enjoy it for a little while before I move.
I have a counselling appointment on Thursday - and I want to use it to debate how far to move, how much to pay etc as I'm really unsure. I was offered a viewing for a house 2 hours away tomorrow mid afternoon but that's too short notice. I also noticed today that there were a lot more stairs than I thought and that might be a problem for me. It's a three storey house which is 'bad' enough - but it seems to have lots of half landings. For me that could represent multiple trip/fall hazards and make it more difficult with deliveries etc... The house with the gorgeous views near me - says it could take 40-60 minutes - to do about 30 miles to work which was a bit of a blow - but a site I may have to go to more for a short period is roughly 30 minutes closer than I am now so could be swings and roundabouts.

That all sounds great savingholmes. We've moved a couple of times in the last few years and each time we have downsized our stuff. Its amazing what you can survive without that you've always thought you needed just in case. I've found a fantastic local gifting site on facebook - where you can advertise stuff to give away and people advertise if they need something - it makes it so much easier to give stuff away when you know someone else is in need of it. It is a journey though, it really is brilliant what you are doing. Good luck with the house search too."Think of many things, do one"

Thanks Sandy - my cleaner was very impressed with my tin cupboard. She is working on the room of doom - and it's amazing how big the room now looks painted white and empty other than a large desk. She can see the difference in the garden too which is encouraging. It was half jungle 2 years ago so has come a very long way - albeit with lots of help. Next week she'll need to go back to cleaning and tidying to get ready for the first valuation the same day.
Just had some of my chicken casserole for lunch. Very tasty.
DD has her next driving test tomorrow so I am on tenterhooks. Really hope for both our sakes it goes well.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yesterday DD went to Al** for me and got some groceries - and picked up some for me too. I had a super busy day at work. I nipped to MnS on the way home and got myself my fave cake, some dirty fries and some compote. Tasty...
Sadly the driving test didn't go well. She now has to redo her theory before she can get another test.
Saw counsellor tonight - I hadn't seen her for around a month! A lot has happened in that time. She was pleased for me with the garden and house progress... I have so much to do before next week's valuations though! Not done anything on that today. Some of my onions look ready to plant out so may just put them in the raised beds and then at least it feels like I've made some progress. Had a little look on RM but other than one stand out property I enquired about earlier in the week - not seeing anything particularly special in my price range anywhere near me. If the valuations go in my favour that could change - however I'm really mindful that the kitchen and bathroom ideally need updating but they are functional. My counsellor felt I had a really stand out garden which I'm hoping will go in my favour.
At least I'm taking action towards the vague dream that has been in my head for years. It will either make me fall in love again with the home I already have or help me find my next dream home.
Hope you are all doing well where you are.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
