Washing machine 80cm tall.

Hi guys.
Parents washing machine has finally conked out and it is a bit of an emergency.
Does anyone know if there is a website where I can search by height to save the endless trawling and having to click on "show details" to get the measurements (Unfortunately I am finding they all seem to be around 85cm)
It needs to fit under a kitchen top so need one that is 80cm tall (gap is 84cm), width is not a problem as there is some open space horizontally.
This is the first time ever we have had to replace a washing machine so I am quite clueless (old one has been there since the 1990s - I heard new ones can easily break within 2 years).
Any recommendations on brands would be great. Obviously the bigger load the better as there is generally a lot of bedclothes that need to be washed. Height as stated needs to no more than 80cm (32 inches). And a quick wash option needed.
I am trying to sort this out whilst trying to work at the same time.
Thanks for any help which might save me some time . . .

These ones are 82cm, they are integrated style. Any chance you could get a kitchen door and plinth match?:

Be careful with manufacturers claims on dimensions. I recently bought a Samsung machine as I needed something with a depth of less than 59cm so it would fit through our narrow cellar door. It turned up and was a few cm more than claimed so wouldn't fit. Ended up having to carry it down the cellar stairs which was fun!1

The one in there at the moment is integrated - probably why I will have problems getting a free standing one (as they all seem to be around 85cm height).
Just not sure how easy they are to put in as I was hoping to just pop round and pop it in (obviously connecting the pipes) without having to pay an "installation expert" do do any kind of joinery work.Fight the WEF.0 -

Yes. That could also be an issue hence why I am looking at 80cm max height (as it has to push under a worktop that is 83cm from the floor.
Unfortunately it seems that the free standing appliances seem to be 85cm minimum height (on Currys etc.). I don't suppose they are ever smaller than listed.Fight the WEF.0 -
You can get "height reducers". They're basically modified "tops" that are flatter/lower. I don't know how much it reduces it by and from what I've read the details on most websites are equally "poor" in how much you'd gain.Extra cost to you and you'd have to replace it - probably best to speak to a couple of manufacturers.0

This amazon advert for the Bosch WGG04409GB is claiming 63.5 centimetres high which seems suspiciously short.
Does anyone know what the consumer rights are if you buy something based on their given dimensions which then turn out to be unsuitably incorrect?Fight the WEF.0 -
