  • The Chelsea Art Gallery at 38-39 Duke of York Square (next to Sloane Square) has original hand painted pix by author and Chelsea socialite Mollie Parkin at £15 & £20 each. Roughly the size of a playing card, each one is different and a mini easel to carry it is an extra £5. Now everybody can become a Saatchi.

  • I got the idea of this site (thanks to the original person who posted this!). I got tupperware boxes from poundstretcher which are divided into sections, then filled all the squares with sweets. The market near me does pic and mix, so does woolworths, and I also got a couple of big tubs of sweets in poundstretcher. They look really good!

The only thing is make sure you get enough sweets as I had to go back for more (but you get to eat the left overs!) :D
  • I have done all my christmas shopping this year using Amazon uk, 10/10 for speed, reliability, great customer service, free p+P for everything I have baught. certainly the cheapest all round on the net, and even beating most high street stores. Even the cost of p+p beats ebay hows that for great money saving.

100% reccomended for great bargains, safe and relliable, will repeat next year for stress free money saving Christmas shopping. :j
  • I have got a friend's child, a pretty decorated Piggy Bank, which cost £3.50 from Evolution, and I am going to fill it with chocolate coins.
  • Got one yesterday in fenwicks of Newcastle. Reduced from £59.95 to £19.95. They're downstairs near bedding, but apparently came from the cosmetics dept so there may be more there.

Reviews sound good on Amazon - they recommend other brands of liquid.
  • Paint a picture and get a mount for it from a discount store. Acrylic paints are the easiest to use and framing the image transforms it into a better picture. I learnt to paint this year and it is a fantastic way to give a gift. The local library always has a great selection of books on how to paint. You could always pick up a library card application for a family member as a present when you are there! my paintings at https://www.timwilliams.eu if you have time to look.
  • Hi, I wanted to post a savings for christmas but wasn't sure how to find the link. I would like to let people know that Sainsbury's are selling Digilogic freeview boxes at £14, I got one this morning. SylviaLebeter.
