just checked and it worked for me, my nightmare is trying to get the national trust site to work through quidco lol, all festive fun, and i'm sure xmas isnt any more or less stresfsul than usual even with the benifit of internet shopping!
    merry christmas,
  • In Booksale (national chain) children's annuals are reduced from £6 to £1.99 each, including disney princesses, bob the builder and others.

I'm making christmas hampers for a couple of my relatives. The pre-filled ones are extremely expensive but you can buy empty hampers online for as little as £6 and fill them with goodies people actually like. If too late to get one online try the supermarket linen dept. Morrisons sell hamper boxes from £2.

To make it look special I'm going to spray on my own logo and posh it up with ribbons.

    Merry Christmas, Keith
I do this for my elderly mum. The first year I did it, I got her not just her ordinary groceries, etc, but a few special or rather different things. She didn't like/want those and promptly gave them back to me. So now I just fill it with the usual sort of things that she likes, just perhaps slightly more upmarket or luscious than she would buy for herself: interesting jam or biscuits or whatever.

For convenience I have also used a photocopier paper box which has also has a decent lid. The box and lid can be covered independently and makes it easy to pack and stack. "Green," as well.

For one week only Boots are currently flogging their best selling face cream - Perfect and Protect- in a massive 200ml size. This would normally be £99 (!) (This was the product that was shown to actually work on some TV documentary and subsequently sold out in minutes) but it's half price at £49 this week. This would be a good buy for any hard core Perfect & Protect fans anyway BUT they are also giving away a pretty classy evening bag in a sort of purple silky material, full of no 7 goodies including make-up, face care and body serum which would make a very nice present on its own. So if you're a Perfect & Protect fan now's the time to buy it. (I also got 250 extra points yesterday for spending £25 on 'qualifying products' - 2 cheers for that)

Yes Kitaj, the £49 face cream with one other very cheap purchase to bring it over £50 is even cheaper if you use SJMA36 as a code. It takes another £10 off!
2p or not 2p? That is the question!
  • Debenhams has quite a few Christmas specials reduced to half price, including all it's Dr Who toys. My son's birthday is just after Christmas & this year I didn't know what to get him until I spotted a remote control Dalek reduced from £40 to a much more reasonable £20. I'm really pleased as I know he will love it.
