Hi everyone

Thought I would give an update on my case.

Notts lost my questionare. So had to redo it in timeframe.

Eventually had case transferred to my home town from Notts, but Notts seemed to have also lost my defence, so my hometown asked for me to resend it in. I resent in the defence as requested within 14 days time schedule. I received confirmation by letter from court saying defence received and that a copy was also being sent to claimant. 

I then received a letter in May of Allocation to small claims track (hearing) mentioning unless claimant pays a trail fee or properly completes application it will be struck out by 25th may without further order. hearing to take place 15th June. 

I then receive an email on 17th May/23 from claimant stating below:

*WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Good Afternoon,

We write in relation to the above matter.  

Our client is prepared to make an offer to potentially conclude this matter. We ask that you call us on 0203 434 0433 before 22/05/2023 to discuss this further. 

We look forward to hearing from you.

I ignored it. Then on the 24th May/23 I recieve another email.

 *Dear ******

 We act for the Claimant in the above matter.  

 Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.  

 The attached has also been filed with the Court. 

 We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.

There was a form attatched of discontinuation. 

But I've looked on the MCOL website and I see nothing. I have also not received anything from the courts stating discontinuation. Recent tarnsactions just show transferred to my hometown.

MCOL isn't relevant at all.  But it is over!

We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.

It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:

These DCBL claims are wasting the time of courts, let alone you, and as a tax payer, you have a right to ask the MoJ why your hard earned money is being used and abused by a so called legal ...
