Richard - if you send it to that email address, they should get back to you saying that it is a valid email and who to cotact. you could also email yourquestions@ge.com to get the details as you can inform them that you did not order this card and it may be a fraudulant application

I would do as George has said; and change your email passwords as well; just in case someone does have access.
State in no uncertain terms that you have not applied for anything and they must stop this application immediately.

Surely you can see that the only people who can confirm that or otherwise are GE Money - get in touch with them and let us know what they say.

They've said an application was made and they'll investigate. I could confirm it because it was sent from an application on GE's servers, and was linking to a GE site.
