Contractual Parking Charge Notice

Quite possibly the retailer you contacted won't have direct contractual relationships with G24. So look for a managing agent. If there is a totem sign at the entrance to the car park which lists all the on-site retailers, look at the bottom of that, where often the name of the site agent is shown.forestfern said:

Is this a single retailer parking facility, or does it service a number of retailers. If a single retailer and you believe they have contracted with G24, try to get it in writing. If a multi-retailer car park, you need to seek out a managing agent who will have contracted G24 and complain to them.forestfern said:Thank you for your response.. it is indeed G24... No the retailer rang.
All that being said, it's quite likely that it won't go too far beyond ignorable debt collector letters (see the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, fourth post), but come back if they launch a court claim against you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

To everyone who gave me guidance regarding G24 and Contractual Charge Notice. The Retail Centre management company team were contacted and were very efficient. Today a waiver letter was received. Great stuff! Thank you so much. Quite telling that G24 did not apologise for lack of up-to-date signage.. or harassing a motorist... no, they drew attention to the fact that one should be aware of the terms and conditions which are in prominent places around the site... (not) 'If you receive a further Contractual Parking Charge Notice this will stand.' Still aggressive, still unaccepting that their signage is virtually non existent!2

Very good news!
You will join us in the new year when the Government's final Public Consultation is likely to be published, asking about the level of parking charges and banning debt recovery 'fee' extortion?
We need people like you and your family to individually respond.
