Contractual Parking Charge Notice

I have tried to follow the feed on this subject but it has become so frustrating that I am starting afresh.
Having been sent one of these PCNs 'a friend' appealed to one of the stores on the complex. Despite them totally agreeing the PCN was not viable due to no signage to state the 'time limit' and emailing the PC, they were told to tell the recipient to make an appeal. We read that private parking companies ALWAYS refuse appeals. We have written to who we think owns the land or the agent for that person, but everything takes up so much time making the time limited to contact others.
What is the best way forward... should I suggest they make the appeal with lots of photographic evidence for signage with no 'time limit' on? Need Constructive help please

Welcome. Was the retailer's response in writing?
Use the blue text initial appeal template from the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post, add an extra line to state the retailer's comments (if in writing attach a copy) and attach copies of the photos you have.Which parking company? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

...and when appealing, take great care not to give away the driver's identity.
So no saying things like 'I parked...' or 'the keeper parked...'.
It's always 'the driver parked...'.3 -

Thank you Umkomaas... The retailer took the letter from 'us' and then emailed the company but then rang 'us'. Will add their comments. It is G24!Umkomaas said:Welcome. Was the retailer's response in writing?

Is this a single retailer parking facility, or does it service a number of retailers. If a single retailer and you believe they have contracted with G24, try to get it in writing. If a multi-retailer car park, you need to seek out a managing agent who will have contracted G24 and complain to them.forestfern said:Thank you for your response.. it is indeed G24... All that being said, it's quite likely that it won't go too far beyond ignorable debt collector letters (see the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, fourth post), but come back if they launch a court claim against you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. You didn't hand over the original PCN?
Ignore G24.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sought out the person dealing with the car park as far as I could, sent several emails but nothing back from them. Maybe I need to ring another of the retailers and get a definitive contact...Umkomaas said:
