Travelup refuse to talk with airline to change flight ticket

I need to change the inbound  of my flight ticket. But travelup said there are not flights that day which is not true. I checked ba.com and clearly I can see a flight. I don’t mind paying any extra fees but at this point they just simply don’t want to help in any way. What can I do? Can I call my CC and open a charge back or somehting? My only option so far is buying a one way inbound ticket which is really expensive. Thanks

There may be a "flight" but not necessarily any seats at the fare class that you have purchased.

Your ticket may well not permit any changes, you'll have to check what you actually booked.

There is absolutely no chance of any claim against your credit card as the company have provided the goods.

You really need to check over your flight confirmation and fare terms. These OTA’s normally sell the cheaper restrictive tickets which don’t permit changes.  Could well be that Travel Up are aware of this when you called and the reason why they won’t engage with the airline is that they know what fare conditions apply and that no changes are permissible on your ticket.

Buying a new inbound ticket may well be your only option if you are adamant about flying on a different date.

According to the T&Cs on the Travel up website they are under no obligation to change your flights . The T&Cs state :

“10.3Not all arrangements can be amended. Please note that certain Travel Arrangements (such as flights) cannot be changed or transferred after they have been confirmed and any change could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the cost of the Travel Arrangement and require you to re-book.”

This also means that you will not be entitled to make a claim on your CC .
