Flexible ISA question

I have a flexible instant access ISA that I have withdrawn money from in this financial year. I now want to replace the money that I have withdrawn before I fix it for a year. If I do this will I still be able to open a new cash ISA in this financial year?

Assuming you haven’t contributed any new money (money that wasn’t previously in an ISA) to the flexible instant access ISA this financial year, then yes you will still be able to open a new cash ISA during this financial year.1
