The OP has not said what type of batteries they are have they? They could be the flat "coin" type batteries or watch batteries, they are small and fit in a normal envelope and would cost little to post

A little more thought before trying to ridicule!
Or perhaps it was a genuine question? The idea of the postage costing more than the batteries tickled me, and I thought in the spirit of money saving I would ask the question. Over on the other boards, a smilie face usually indicates a light hearted post...obviously not on this one. A little more thought before trying to give me a slap on the wrist!0
