Problem With Executors & A Beneficiary

I am so sorry you have lost personal items, those are the ones that hurt the most.

The executors have clearly been negligent on distributing the personal items but nothing you can do now will replace items that have been destroyed. 

The second issue is the money taken out of the estate.

I agree with msb1234 a solicitors letter to the executors pointing out their responsibilities including accurate estate accounts that reflect monies already taken from the estate including rent and for items sold by them or second beneficiary. Explicitly stating that monies taken (including rent) form part of the other beneficiaries 50%. Point out legally you are entitled to a copy of the estate accounts and that they are financially liable for any discrepancies. 

Advise them you have received no personal possessions as these were all taken or destroyed before they as executors permitted you to enter the home. As it is their failure to carry out their duties to oversee the distribution of personal property ask them to intervene, if necessary withholding the inheritance until you are given some personal items, list the items you want e.g. wedding photos, pictures pieces of furniture etc. Sadly, I think they will have no luck but it may focus them on their responsibilities in relation to a fair distribution of the money.
