Hi is there any way of finding out when long haul airlines are having seat sales?

You probably need to narrow things down:
If you're thinking of specific airlines, then you can obviously visit their websites or sign up to their loyalty/marketing programmes or mailing lists.
Or if it's a particular route that you have in mind you should be able to get proactive price alerts from the likes of Skyscanner when seats are available below a certain price point?0 -
Long haul seat sales, such as they are, in the UK are led by BA who used to start their sale on Boxing Day. Now sales appear when business is bad and at the moment that is simply not the case for many routes, particularly to the States and Australasia. Begin by identifying which airlines go where you want to fly to, the more competition, the better the chance of a decent fare, see what prices are like now and then watch what happens. The fares of the past are gone, with reduced seats to sell, airlines are charging a lot more for flights in 20230

British Airways and Vrigin Atlantic are starting a seat sale in the 15th of December if my memory serves me correctly. The airlines I would be more interested in are Qatar Emirates Cathay Pacific or any other airlines that facilitate cebu city in PhilippinesAlan_Bowen said:Long haul seat sales, such as they are, in the UK are led by BA who used to start their sale on Boxing Day. You can always fly into Manila and take a boat from there. Long-haul flights into Cebu are somewhat 'niche'.
