Okay, well I'll do over 60 because obviously, if you're over 65, then you're over 60 as well. And that's probably the obvious ones like the free bus pass, cheaper cinema tickets, a lot of places that charge entry will do discounts for over 60s.

My dad's over 65. Now he's very excited about getting cheaper haircuts. But I'll highlight just a few that are, I think, really good or quite recent ones. So if you travel by train a lot, then definitely look at a Senior Railcard. It gets a third off most train fares. There are some peak time restrictions in London and the South of England. But if you travel by train a lot, you're going to save a lot. It's £30 for a year. But actually there are ways that you can get it cheaper - some councils will do a discount. So if you live in Chelmsford, for example, you can get a discount code from the council which will get the card for £24 rather than £30.

Have a look at some booking sites as well, like Trainline and Trainpal - they sometimes do discounts which get you around £20 for the card and Tesco ClubCard as well if you've got some points, then £10 in Tesco vouchers gets you a Senior Railcard. That's a really, really good deal. If you're an Iceland shopper or you shop at the Food Warehouse and you're over 60 then go on a Tuesday and you'll get 10% off. You just need to show proof of age when you go in there.

And Asda, at its cafes - it's got over 200 of them - and if you're over 60 and you pay a pound, then you can get soup, you can get a roll and unlimited tea and coffee. That's all day any day for the rest of 2022. That's a nice deal that's going to help people out.
