The make of phone is irrelevant. Is your question "how do I listen to music/podcasts on my phone without streaming them using my mobile data allowance"?1

Well if you don't want to use data then you'll have to stay in range of a Wi-Fi network.Which may not be too hard but may limit your ability to wander around somewhat.0

If you own the music you can copy it to your phone and play it via any one of a myriad of music playing apps.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I have music, talking books and podcasts saved to my phone. Transfered from my laptop.
I play via the speaker or headphones. No app or data required so listen anywhere.
I have music player on mine as standard. Click on playlists then the settings tab on the phone which gives you Create playlist then you choose from your music.
What sort of music player is on your phone?
Do you have a port for a micro memory card?I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
