Email notifications randomly arriving late or not arriving at all.

For the last couple of weeks or so I find I don't get emails notification for threads I am subscribed to, or if I do, they can be several days late.
Sometimes I might get an email notification for the latest post as I'm meant to, only later on getting email notifications for posts in the same thread that were posted several days earlier.
My email provider is Yahoo.
Is this happening to anyone else?
