Sky hub delivery - can it be delivered to alternative address?

Hi, I thought this would be a very typical issue for many home movers but could not find relevant information so I would like to post here.
I am moving to new home next month and sorting out broadband before moving in.
Sky broadband seems good (and Uswitch deal would give me GBP 100 gif card) and they do not need engineer visit as the connection is on openreach.
But when purchasing the product online, not only that I cannot chose the activation date, I cannot specify the hub delivery address.
But I won't be there until next month.
I called up the customer service and they said I have to purchase on the phone if I want the hub to be sent to my current address.
Is that really the case?

Presuming that the existing owners have broadband, you can't order/ have an activation date if they haven't cancelled their service.
A lot of house sellers leave cancellation until they have a completion/moving date as otherwise you can end up without service. In fact, some "forget" to cancel ,causing problems for the incoming purchaser.0
