Post office cant accept my small parcel with ebay printed lable tracked 48 £2.85

Item sold last night, printed the lable and paid for royal mail tracked 48, £2.85, my local post office is shut Saturday afternoon but there is another that is open until 10pm so I walked there, when they scanned the lable they got a message, post office cant accept contact royal mail. Anyone got any idea why, what may be…

My local PO will take them but they aren't tracked until they reach the depot. They just gave me a receipt for posting. All tracked the next morning
