  • Thanks, @Coupon-mad. I have put "Clerkenwell and Shoreditch county court" nearest to me.

Looks fine. Make sure you get an auto-acknowledgement from the CCBC, almost immediately.

Sounds like you should re-read the first 12 steps in the first post of the Template defence thread to set you on the right path again.

You were reading a form yet forgetting that form and where/how to send it, is fully covered on this forum!

  • Agreed though this forum is so big now to find the required thread, even search result returns 100s of threads! I am starting to use bookmarks which is very useful.

Anyway, I have now emailed the downloaded N180 form in pdf to CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk and CC to info@dcblegal.co.uk and got auto-replies from both, expecting to see this update in the MOCOL portal!

I don't understand how the forum being very big stops people seeing the pinned threads at the top every single time?

The Template Defence Thread and the NEWBIES FAQS thread (your main resources) are both Announcements, meaning they are always pinned at the top of page one of the forum.

Also when you search, always change 'best match' to NEWEST.  That stops you reading years old stuff!

  • Sorry I used to go directly to my thread from the bookmark and search from the top bar.
Now I have got the main page at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/parking-tickets-fines-parking and can see the announcements on the top. Thanks.

Wow...you never looked at page one so you've never really 'seen' the forum, never seen all the daily threads like yours.    Glad you've seen the light now!

NEVER go directly/only to your 'tiny island' of a thread!  You are missing the point of a forum and everything you can learn from other cases.

  • Hi,

Just a quick question, should I see my DQ status update in the MCOL website? currently its shows

    Claim History:

Your defence was received on 01/12/2022

DQ filed by claimant on 11/01/2023

DQ sent to you on 11/01/2023

Although I received "AUTO RESPONSE DO NOT REPLY - CCBC AQ Acknowledgment" after emailing the N180 Form.

I just found out that I did a typing mistake (missed a letter on the claim number) on the form but It was correct in the email and subject line.

Should I email again the form with the correct claim no or should I post the hard copy the court sent by post?

  • Yes email it again with the correct claim number asap.
