I've got an error message "Its not you its us" when I try to sign up for the Virgin M Plus on the app. 20 minutes on the phone line, still no answer. Not sure I want to have nan account if this is the hassle I have to go through.0

I think they got that sorted. I opened the 3% ISA on 4/11/22, filled in the transfer form at the same time and the money was credited to the account on 10/11/22. No problems whatsoever.xylophone said:If you're transferring an existing ISA into the new 3% Virgin ISA, I can tell you that they've apparently been having a technical glitch throwing up an erroneous message when you submit the ISA transfer form at the end of the application processJust what I was planning to do but I am now wondering whether I can face the hassle....

Just for info: It is possible to stop redirection by contacting the new bank. They will contact the old bank who will arrange to start returning payments with the reason "account closed". I have tried and tested this and it works.

I applied on 7/11/22 and according to customer service they were getting calls from a significant number of people getting the error message but I don't believe it was affecting everyone. Money has finally arrived today 17/11/22 so all went through okay - it was just a pain spending 40 minutes on the phone to find out there was no issue after all.Yorkie006 said:

I managed to open both current and ISA and initiated a transfer on Monday.
I'm waiting to see what transpires......

I've had a message from Virgin to say that the ISA transfer is complete.
