What timeline ?
Printer kaput so had to go Post Office and pay again.
I have pressed cancel on original purchase invoice (paypal) but wonder how long the process takes ?

When this happened to me it took a few days to get money back. You will get it back as they will know it hasn't been used but they do give it time to make sure you haven't used it1
