sim only deal looking for

im on ee out of contract now, it is £22 pm for 40gb, as the price is creaping up,
is there anything out there that can beat that that has good coverage etc.
i use mainly data, i guess calls/texts are unlimited with most deals.

First question is, do you need to stay with the EE network for reception reasons or are other networks an option. Secondly, do you need the WiFi calling feature because if you do then that limits you further.

As a start take a look at the RWG website (they use the EE network) and have 30gb for £15 pm.

ee are ok for reception most of the time, but there are times when it goes slow,
i would use others if good enough.
mainly use it for using the internet when out,
  no wifi calling( thought that would use your home router to call others?)
can your data be used if its possible to link a laptop/chromebook to the phone to use the internet as its a bigger screen, better for the eyes

I pay £14.63/month on Three for SIM only unlimited data, text & minutes. (it was £14/month but went up in April).

If you decide to change networks, try a free sim, or a friends first to check the actual signal where you are - I've found the online coverage checkers inaccurate

How much data do you use?
If 15GB is enough, you can try out Lebara (use O2) or Lyca (use Vodafone) for their cheap price for 6 months.

What's the data used for?
 can probably be more selective on high use and WiFi connect out of home.
