1. No. What you have sounds good.
2. Not needed but maybe one (fated/timed) photo.
3. Yes.
4. Yes say all of that and use photos from GoogleStreetview changing the date back (can't be done on a phone).
Be confident. This is their case to prove AND there is no risk anyway.
They are claiming £xxx and you want to pay £0 so there's absolutely no downside or risk here! Even if you lost the case, you'd pay LESS than the claim, due to the Judge not allowing the false added 'damages'.
But you won't even have a hearing will you?!
It's DCBLegal and UKPC who will discontinue after you cheerfully ignore or refuse their desperate offers to settle, once they see a decent WS bundle from you and they realise you are poker-facing them.
Did you miss the DCB Legal discontinuances thread?!

DBS Legal appear to be following their 'pattern' and I have received but refused a 'without prejudice' discussion.
I'm at the WS stage which needs to be submitted imminently (but no later that 4pm Tuesday next week). This has so far taken me a ridiculous amount of time juggling family life, work and this farcical process. Sorry! rant over but I can see why people cave in and pay!
However, I've hit the wall. I'm doubting the quality and relevance of my witness statement. The examples suggested on this forum have been great and those I've used are the 'best practice' examples such as robertcox999. My issue is that these appear not to bear enough resemblance to my own case, causing my self-doubt.
My case relates to a keypad data entry/recording issue. I input my registration details as requested but STILL received a ticket. There are 10 additional examples from the same venue within the same time period reported on-line (Media, Trip Advisor etc). These will be used in my evidence.
Please can someone advise? My queries:
After the 'Sequence of events' relating to my own example, should I still use suggested wording as seen in example WS? relating to:- The Beavis case - ligitimate interest (cost)
- Redacted landowner contract
- Abuse of process
- CPR 44.11 - further costs
- My fixed witness costs - ref PD 27, 7.3(1) and CPR 27.14
- Statement of truth

Forget the (now old) example by Robert Cox and don't use the phrase 'abuse of process' nor the Southampton Crosby case.
Recent good ones are by @aphex007 or @SJRRJS and should only take an hour or two to add your own facts and signage evidence to.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you .... I think I'm just panicking. I have looked at those too but suffering information overload.0

Just take aphex's bundle and copy it. Change the photos to yours. Change the facts at the start to your own.

Another one bites the dust!! Discontinuance notice.
A letter received in the post yesterday confirms that UKPC and DCB Legal are true bullies taking each case right to the limit in the hope that money is made even in cases of absolute innocence.
It took a lot of effort and time let alone the stress to reach this point but I honestly couldn't be more grateful for the support of this forum and its members!! A special 'thank you' to @Coupon-mad who without you I was near to crumbling!
Whilst I was relieved to receive the letter, I am cross! They have taken my time away from my family, taken away hours of my time and caused unnecessary worry for 4 years!!! I hope my own story and case somehow supports others in a similar situation.

If you haven't already done so, bring this to the attention of your MP. While we do as much as we can on the forum (and @Coupon-mad doing even greater things via her membership of the DLUHC Steering Group taking forward the National Code of Practice) none of us make the law - that's the job of MPs, so use yours in pursuit of getting a much fairer system in place, and in the process clipping the wings of the private parking sector and helping those who will fall foul of it in the future.Well done 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

One favour please:
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1
And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79310609/#Comment_79310609
Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens.
...anticipated VERY soon, in weeks...
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers. You have a personal story to tell about the culture of greed that inflates parking charges to line the pockets of roboclaim bullyboy 'legal' firms, and incentivises court as a cheaper form of debt collection than the PPC making proper efforts to engage with the consumer,
I am sure you want your voice heard to stop this happening again.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
