    How light is very light?
One minute or text every three months up to 100 minutes and texts a month?
Rwg £5 topup gives you 50 mins and texts free each month, go over that and it is 5p pet min or pet text.
If you need more a £15 topup gives you 100 + 100. No monthly charge. And they're based in Newport!

    https://www.rwgmobile.wales/webshop/pay-monthly/

Make one call or text every 90 days or account could be suspended, but the call or text would be free, make someone's day!

If by very light you mean over 100 mins and texts a month some months  you might be better off on 1pmobile  no free calls but 1p per min/text

Ask anyone who was with White mobile about the upgrade they were offered when they became moblox. Upgrade to a package or get disconnected!

Networks want to know who is using their sims because of the risk of them being used for crime. But if you don't want to give them your bank details you can buy a voucher in a supermarket to top up.

RWG is even a Welsh company!
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I'm a very, very, light user too.
You will probably find that you will only be using the minutes from your free bundle each month and your £5 credit will stay untouched.

I don't know why MSE does not promote PAYG sims better, I use my phone very lightly with few calls, texts and data.  Any plan that I could buy is wasteful.  I used to use three until their PAYG rates increased to similar prices as the other big networks.  Now I am on 1pmobile, a penny per minute / per text / per MB.  £30 for a year will be more than enough for my needs.

You can get a rolling monthly sim only for about £6 a month or less,  unlimited calls and texts plus 2GB data
