Guess we're aiming for the same target in the grocery challenge from January onwards. Mine's set at £120 per month so I can try to scrimp off the few days extra and let them build up in savings. It amounts to over £100 a year extra savings or debt payments if I can stick to the budget. :rotfl: Slice of banana spongecake, anyone?
Post one has been updated again, just need to search for JacksXXX post to see what the final target was, cos it says 10k on the board... anyone know for sure?I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

It's the final countdown,
na, na, na, na,
na, na, na, na na....
you know how the song goes, don't you?
We have less than 24 hours left of the 2007 challenge (for some) amd less than 24 hours until a brand new start for everyone here  It is time to congratulate yourselves on getting this far by plucking up the courage to launch headlong into this brave challenge!
It will be difficult, there will be good days and bad, there will be unexpected expenses, there will be little silly things that you may have overlooked - whatever happens over the coming 12 months, there WILL be surprises, so just take it as it comes, cross each financial bridge as you come to it and never, ever give up hope. In exactly one year's time, we will, hopefully, all be back here celebrating in some way, shape or form. :jI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

:T GOOD QUESTION! Check out my signature...
Can you see any outstanding debts?
Can you see my house challenge? One day that will say zero and, until that happens, this is the way I choose to live. I do, however, still have credit cards but those beggars ain't getting any interest from me ever again if I can help it.
Tomorrow, I'll let you know exactly how much I have left out of my 2007 budget and it will be going in Phil the Pig... but I need bread, milk and cheese first and the Co-op's shut at this hour :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.
