Hya Lingo, thats a great buy considering how much they are in the shops,,,,had a quick look but though I'd love to buy one I cant really justify it right now, I try not to eat much bread, (though I really really want another gadget to look after......)!!!!!! I find that when I have too many sanwiches ( for lunches etc) I start to feel really sluggish and yucky.
Thats what I love about being part of this thread. Its like when we were wee and got taken out on road safety lessons....STOP, LOOK,LISTEN......stop before I impulse buy, look really hard......do I really need this and Listen to that spending diary. Was laughing with OH the other day that since November I've not bought any clothing, not even a new pair of knickers......oops thinking back to the numerous posts re knickers
Now I spose its money safety lessons........wish they had given money safety lessons when I applied for a marriage certificate, might not have taken me years to get outta the mire, anyway thats another story!!!!!
I love the idea of the bottle greenhouse and as we (DS) drinks loads of cordial have loads of plastic bottles to recycle. Though where would I keep the bottles???? Ive been lurking on the declutter thread for the past week, cos I need to get rid of so much stuff. Everything thats in the spare room is not going back into the other 2 bedrooms unless absolutely justified.
Elantan was it yourself who uses the Chinese supermarket???Is that the new one thats up Maryhill way. Am asking cos we passed by it and I mentioned to OH that someone on the challenge uses a Chinese supermarket
Yesterday was indeed a NSD, my first 2 NSD in a row since New Years Day and the 2nd of Jan, tried for a third today but failed, needed to buy milk and dog food and treated myself to a packet of Golden Wonder ready salted crisps,!!!!!......( far nicer than Walkers).........I know I know, not very FFC but if you hadnt already noticed Ive not been keeping up with the FFC at all
(edited) sorry shouldnt have used brand names!!!!.....hope Gary Lineker isnt reading!!!!!cheerio hen0 -

Hiya, well I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd be frugal with my insomnia and post my spends for last week: £51.05 spent so £3263.61 left for the year; 61p into savings so weekly spend back up another 51p to £73.92
Still not sure about the Spend Days Nyk, 8 sounds a reasonable start though, especially with weekends away/Mothers Day etc. Will double check before I commit, don't want to fail at this as well as the GC

Good luck with Offsed
I have been so busy at work and want to apologise for not contributing more this month.
My total for this month is £428. It is higher than last month as I paid the tv license at £135. My actual spend other than this amount is very similar.0 -

Slightly annoyed as my tax credits claim is held up so have had to cancel my survey (scheduled for today) for the free loft insulation. However, surveyor was really good when I told him and said to text him when I do have the letter and he will put me thro another scheme so I should get it eventually.
Our gas bill is very low, but leccy high (well, we work from home). Probably will even out over the year and over the two. And it'll be spring soon (she says hopefully).
Haven't heard yet about MIL job. Apparently we should know by end of Wed. Yesterday we jumped every time the phone rang!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them.
