i just realised wednesday is tomorrow lol i thought it was monday today lmao
Thank you for the reminder. That means this was day 1 of week 3! :T Yes! I'm one seventh of the way through my third week! :j
January is going to be an absolute bumper spend month for me because of the huge bills and I still have the insurance to pay  but it should get better soon, especially when I start pushing my grocery allowance to the limit and getting fit in February.
Think I'll go in virtual search of more freebies now, and try to rack up a few more pennies in my Greasypalm account.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

I promise I will update my sig tomorrow, I just need to check how much my two ebay purchases were and then I'll be brave and add it all up, but I KNOW i'm well over for week 2.
This week (3) I have very little money, mainly because hubby got double paid last week so it's only my child tax credit and benefit to live off this week. I do have some of his wages left but really have to pay that to council tax or they'll start taking furniture out of my house.
I get £75 on Thursday and £30 on Monday, but out of that I still need to pay my weekly electric which is about £40 (including the £15 per week debt as i'm on a PPM), TV license, and a loan.
On the bright side I have a full freezer and £25 credit on my electric meter so as long as I am very careful this week I should be fine, I can't avoid Tesco's as it's a minute walk and I will still need bread and milk but I really must avoid the reduced price section and avoid uneccessary spending this week, i.e leave kids at home with OH when I nip out.Payment a day challenge: £236.69

Bails, I found a freebie for pet food, has kitten had anything from this one? Here's the link

On a less cheerful note, I just checked my bank balance. Hmph!
£24.99 out for Broadband (this is final payment of this 12 month package, I've reduced it from next month) and the home insurance payment of £52.40, which is for the full year. Hoping to get some cashback through Greasypalm for switching companies and I did get my £5.00 off per month for 6 months on the new Broadband package.
I WILL SURVIVE! Gone to update signature AGAIN!! :eek:I reserve the right not to spend.

Hello, although I have been reading I don't think I have posted in a while.
its been mixed really, I managed pretty well for the first two weeks, but I bought a load of books for work which they are now saying they won't pay for ( even tho the dept is using most of them) and I am going to Berlin on a school trip...... so I thought jan was tough feb is going to be a nightmare.
It means I can't make any extra loan payments. BUT I guess it is only for one month.
Feb is my OU andE bay focus cos by then I should have sorted work so it is all at work not at home.
I have to say I haven't missed going to the shops, tomorrow will be the first time I have gone to the supermarket and I only need cat litter and sand paper and "stuff" (which could be dangerous) to start weight watchers. next week.
overall I am ok I think.
hope everyone is going well.
xxNevertheless she persisted.0 -

I have £9.00 until friday left of my budget. £5.00 worth of petrol and the rest into the change jar I think. Got to get into a better rhythm for this - making a new plan to manage my weekly budget better.THE LONG AND THE SLOW ROAD SEEM TO APPLY TO DEBTS AND DIETS... I'm a teacher also and since beginning to watch the pennies about a year ago I do find it incredibly difficult not spending my own money on school stuff. Whether it be even silly stuff like advent calendars, end of term sweeties etc. I guess it's just getting the balance right!0
