Transferring Child Trust Fund

I am looking a transferring my daughters Child Trust Fund(CTF) into an ISA, she is 16. I have read that if over 16 she could have a Adult ISA. My question is can I transfer her CTF to an adult ISA or does it have to be a child ISA.
I am looking at Coventry BS for the child ISA or Virgin for the adult ISA.
Any advise appreciated

You cannot transfer a CTF in to an ISA; this will only occur on/after their 18th birthday.

You can transfer a CTF in to a Junior ISA (JISA).  I know Coventry offer one and accept CTF to JISA transfers.  Some JISA providers do not accept CTF to JISA transfers.  I couldn't see reference to a JISA with Virgin, so you will need to check that out.
