Barclaycard are still offering me money transfer at 0% for 18 months at 2.6%. Surprised that's not been withdrawn yet
What makes you think they'll withdraw it? Barclaycard have been doing these for years. You sure its not 2.6% for a year, and a balance transfer for 18 months for a 2.9% fee?
Sure - 0% money transfer at a one-off 2.6% over 18 months. Their 0% 24 month balance transfer rate for me is 2.9%. I'm surprised the money transfer rate is so low still.

How do you obtain these offers?

Apologies if this is a bit of off-topic but I am a newbie in the world of 0% credit cards. I have just received my first one.

I was expecting to apply for a new card (eg via MSE) once I get near the limit on the current one and cross my fingers that I am accepted. The credit limit on the current card is 2k so I am going to need more cards/credit to build a decent stooze pot.

It's an existing card of mine - they pop up with a new offer every few months. Barclaycard had gone six months or so (for me) without any offers) and then the current one came along. Other cards of mine tend to offer 0% transfer or cash deals at 4.5-5.5%, which is a bit steep

Took the money transfer a few days ago and the offer stated interest will start accruing on 1 June 2024 therefore 19 month duration.

Note that marketing states 1-2 days for the funds to be credited however in my case it took a full week.

They're only offering me a year. Debating whether to take out the Virgin ISA at 3.85% to dump the money into, or wait until further into the month to see whether a fixed rate ISA pops up with a higher rate
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
  • as above it is existing customer offers, log in and there is an offers section with the title balance and money transfers

my current offers are 0% for 12 month with 4% fee or 0 fee and 5.9% apr for 24 months, got nothing on the cards , 1 card has 0% on purchases for another 6 months

It is only for existing customer, not for eveyone. I got the same offer last month, 18 month for 2.9% BT fee. It is too rude to reject this offer.
