Interesting point on promotion. Their adverts featured 7% ISAs in the Sunday Times during March 2019, which gave Astute the undeserved air of respectability. Not an area where you'd expect unscrupulous businesses to operate. I am considering taking legal action if for nothing else, but to demonstrate that Astute never planned to repay investors and indeed had a track record for these tactics. Thanks again for your comments.1

Has anybody received voting instructions, and what are the changes really? I agree, it was promoted by fin advisors, like Amima, however a year later they sent an email saying that they will withdraw their suppot of Astute. Though it looked legit as transactions were made via various security companies, like Reyker Securities, James Brearly and Nothern Provident. Though Nothern Provident is not on the scene any more the Financial Authority are not accepting any claims against it yet. I just receivd some communication, on how to proxy vote, though I am struggling to understand what is the voting for? Is there anybody concerned who knows what is it all about?

Even HMRC isn't getting the VAT is was owed, so don't expect to be able to make any claims against it in the future.I don't know what resolution Astute Capital might be putting to its shareholders. I'm presuming you were a bondholder who was subject to the debt for equity swap, so you are now a shareholder with voting rights. Giving someone at Astute your proxy vote doesn't seem like a very good idea.2

They did have FCA registration via being an appointed representative of Equity for Growth (Securities), but I am near-certain they never had authorisation to give financial advice. Not that it stopped them, of course. But the pretense was that they were only "introducing".Though it looked legit as transactions were made via various security companies, like Reyker Securities, James Brearly and Nothern Provident. That was exactly how it had happened, nobody of "investors" even had any proxies, as there were only 7 votes, all for the Astute proposals. Yes, I do have these so called "shares" of to total value of 2504 pounds stirling, lol, taking into account the amount of shares and current value of £0.0002 per share or so.... there is no one in a company to talk to, so called "advisers" and customer reps all disappeared apart from one and he is not replying too. I am not sure I can eventually get anything from them at all and looks like there is no any help either from any authority at the moment.
