Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced Power Monitor?

Already answered higher up but just for reassurance, it is not correct.nxdmsandkaskdjaqd said:Is it correct that the resolution of the Tapo is only 0.1 KW so would only register devices that consume more than 100Watts, ie fridges, TV's, and other high power items?
I just opened it up against a low power device and its saying
Today (so far): 0.003kWh
Current power: 5w
Past 30 days: 1.065kWh

Most of my Tapo 110's cost less than £10 each it was only one I paid £22 for thinking the first one didn't have the energy monitoring with it but found out just after the second one arrived that there was an arrow that you swipe up to reveal the energy usage and more.thriftytracey said:Thank you for responses. Yes, it was a bit confusing, took a while to identify the correct one
The Tapo P110 is £22 on Amazon. The Argos ones are all sold out with the nearest store with them in stock 100 miles away!
The Tenda SP9 is £12.99 on Amazon. Is it worth paying the extra for the Tapo?Someone please tell me what money is0 -
Having done the same with my new P110s when I couldn't find the energy stuff, I tried it with my P100 smart plugs (non energy monitoring) and swiping up in the same way does reveal run times for those devices - so you do get some additional functionality with those too. Most of mine are on lamps with known, steady wattages, so I can work out how much they're used and the monthly cost etc. Interesting for comparison, as I have some set to come on at sunset.wild666 said:

The cumulative is measured in Wh the current to mW.nxdmsandkaskdjaqd said:Is it correct that the resolution of the Tapo is only 0.1 KW so would only register devices that consume more than 100Watts, ie fridges, TV's, and other high power items?
It's the app that was not displaying properly.
There are other better monitoring options. node-red and home assistant are two I have looked at.0 -

They were showing in stock when I ordered mine on the 14th October. Still not arrived and they tell me they're not expected until 18th November.

It's a shame you need to create an account to use the Tapo P110 devices, or I'd have considered one.

Judging by the various threads on this topic, I am looking forward to tearing my hair out trying to set it up when I get it ... Promised next Wednesday (Argos) we shall see.0
