Thanks Le Kirk, I called them today and have paid the fee and have the email address for submission so just getting the attachments sorted and will send off tomorrow.

Hello all, we finally have been given a court date for 17th November 3pm by a zoom equivalent. Feeling a bit nervous but know the law (and you all) are on my side. If you can suggest any specific threads for me to read through for my preparation I would be very grateful. Thanks for your continued support

Read and know your defence and witness statement inside out, make yourself a crib sheet so that, if you are given a chance by the judge to talk, you can make sure you get across ALL your points.  Dress as if you were going to the office, wear shoes, not slippers and, sometimes, it helps to take the phone call standing up - but that's just me!  Make sure the court has your phone number and follow any instructions for "joining" as closely as possible.  Be there early in case the cases in front of you move up the queue.  Be polite and do not talk over the judge, address the judge as "Judge" even if a lady judge and finally - good luck.

It’s about a parking fine back in 2018 when my husband was collecting my mother from the train station and went into the entrance to carry her suitcase down the stairs due to a medical condition.

I fought the ticket by appeal them sent off to the BPA I believe and copied the complaint and breach of rules they had violated(the main being they have to wait 10 minutes) and didn’t hear anything AT ALL since then. 

The previous address has confirmed no post at all since October in his name so this is a big screw up their side.

 Ok, so it's a QDR case.

They will submit a statement and oppose your application, so be sure to do a lot of preparation.

Remind us, is this a claim against YOU but you were not driving?

If so, you need to understand and be able to take the Judge to POFA 2012 Schedule 4.

I have started my prep and ultimately will use the defence that we were not notified of them persuing the case at all so it’s unlawful.
I will read again through the 2 links previously given to me.
I’m assuming that the policy that was withdrawn by the government had nothing to offer me here?

Sorry, I've not read back through the thread, but is all the defence being done under your husband's name and signature?  Not in your name 'on behalf of'?  You can clearly do the paperwork for him, but it must be in the name of the person shown on the court claim documentation.

Is the template defence here on the forum or on the policy draft on the government website? Their wording of it being withdrawn is misleading or perhaps I misunderstood
