Why not all on the same date? What is the meaning of life?
Great that you just made the deadline date!2 -

Hi, I have read the above posts and the .gov.uk website in particular" "Work and Pensions Secretary Mel Stride said:
We want to do everything we can to support pensioners who are often the most exposed to higher costs. That’s why we’re providing all pensioner households with an additional £300 on top of their Winter Fuel Payments to heat their homes and stay warm this winter.
My wife and I are both pensioners claiming our state pension. We have both received the £250.00 winter fuel payment. Is out household (i.e. between us) entitled to a additional £300.00 pensioner cost of living payment. The winter fuel payment office says we are not as the pensioner cost of living payment is included in the winter fuel payment we have received? Mel Stride seems to be saying we are " additional £300 on top of their Winter Fuel Payment". Please explain. Thank you

We have been getting £100 each, usually in November, but last year my OH turned 80, so he got £200 and I got £100.
The additional £300 pensioner payment was split into £150 each, added to that, and paid at the same time, so OH got a total of £350 and I got £250.
We each received only one payment, and we always get a letter each.0
