Thank you for the kind wishes and I hope you all had a decent break etc.

Sorry I have been AWOL. Things with Mum are just so hard and between her and work I don't have any time for anything. Been on holiday for a week but that translates to looking after Mum which is ok, but I was ill before we broke up and I didn't really stop as such, straight into Christmas. It is how things are for now. I am keeping my head above water but honestly? Really awful things keep happening and we are just dealing with them or not and carrying on. Work is awful. Soon the next round of teachers who aren't good enough will be dealt with and I don't think I will be safe from it. But I will deal with that when it happens.

I think this is just a hard season of life? Sounds naff I know but literally nothing good is happening so I don't know what else to say.

Oh Buffy although it’s good to hear from you, I’m sorry to read how dire things are at for you the moment. I feared that when we didn’t hear from you for a while that something had happened to your mum. How’s she doing?

Have always read but not commented. As carer for husband with alzheimers and getting worse I feel for you. Just when you think you are winning something else crops up. Then medical appointments I don't work and am struggling.
You are doing really well to work as well. I am learning(I think) just to let something s go and take each day at a time. Some are OK and some are awful.
