Then it is the 10.1" 11th gen Amazon fire. They are £149.95.

You could buy from one of the eBay resellers who stocked up on Black Friday, they are about £100 off them.

I was all set to buy the fire after much pouring over specs, but luckily even more research gave me a way to put epubs onto my ipad 2, (which is what I wanted the fire for- a colour ebook reader)

If you're not in a great hurry and are considering the Amazon Fire range, don't forget their refurb line. 
I picked up an "as new" Fire HD 10+ for under £90 the week before Black Friday.
They were back up to £169 for Black Friday!
Some knowledge is needed to use the Fire Toolbox to add Google Play Store which will allow access to all the usual goodies.

There are different spec's at different prices. One for under £150 with Android 12 3Gb RAM and 32Gb Storage https://www.amazon.co.uk/LENOVO-TB125FU-TAB-32GGR-SE-MTK/dp/B09ZRPMRJ3

They are decent tablets and have so far been kept up to date reasonably well.
