I am trying to get my Dad set up and he got the message "sorry, you're not eligible". Going through thr Octopus FAQ, we've not managed to work out why. He has a SMETS 2 meter, HH data and appears not to have any gaps in his readings. But he has a CoOp Flexible tariff. Is this the thing that is stopping him from being eligible? Having double checked the Octopus flexible tariff, the rates are identical, so he didn't seem to be against changing his tariff to give him access to the Savings Sessions, if that is what is needed.
Yes you do. I'm in the same situation (CoOp tariff). I tried signing up, couldn't, and when I flagged it with Octopus they told me that being on a CoOp tariff was the reason I couldn't.

Just an update on this. Octopus have changed their position on this as I've now been able to sign up to Saving Sessions as a Coop-branded customer.
